Sponsored by the UN, this program seeks to transform learning spaces and achieve the commitment of educational centers with the achievement of the SDGs. Since 2018, it already has the participation of more than 1,300 schools. 1,200,000 students and 48,500 teachers from 89 countries, organized in a network. Among its multiple objectives, teacher training in Education for Sustainable Development occupies a privileged place. To achieve this task, it has developed a training methodology called "Global Schools Advocates Program". In addition to finding information about the multiple activities it carries out, on its website you can also find an interesting section of resources and didactic experiences aimed at the stage of Primary and Secondary Education.
An international entity dependent on the UN, its objective is to certify the commitment of educational centers and the teaching community with the 2030 Agenda. It seeks, above all, to promote Education for Sustainable Development through the training of educational leaders. In addition, it offers the opportunity to have specialized advice from an SDG ambassador to materialize the school transformation. Through a diagnostic evaluation and a training program, the design and implementation of a sustainability plan in the center is guaranteed with a final certification audit. It also has a network of educational centers that have already carried out the transformation and enjoy the ODS certificate.

Most of these are good practices that have won the Vicente Ferrer National Award for Education for Sustainable Development. The International Network of SDG Promoters arises from a citizen movement that seeks to drive and promote compliance with the 2030 Agenda and the achievement of the SDGs. It is made up of more than 8,300 promoters from 38 countries, especially in Latin America and the Caribbean. Among the many activities they carry out, the International Education for Sustainable Development Program stands out, which has three training spaces: (1) an introductory course on the SDGs; (2) introductory course on Education for Sustainable Development and (3) practical cases, spaces for exchange and empowerment, organized into 11 lines of action.
One of the objectives pursued by CEIP Reyes Católicos (Huelva) is to make the educational community aware of the importance of sustainable development. A reflection of this is the implementation of the "Committed to the SDGs" project. The celebration of the International Day for the Rights of Children and Adolescents was the perfect occasion at CEIP Llebeig to sensitize its students about the 2030 Agenda and work on SDG 1 and 3. To do this, they involved all the students of the school and They had the collaboration of the association Extend your Hand. The final result was a collection of hygiene and food products, which the students of the sustainability committee (boys and girls between 5-12 years old) delivered to the representative of said association.
The CEIP Juan Rico y Amat de Elda (Alicante) proposes a program to reduce emissions and combat climate change. The purpose is to raise awareness about environmental protection. The program involves all the students of Primary Education, from the age of five to the sixth year. It is made up of theoretical workshops given by the local police and practical sessions in the area of Physical Education; for example, how to use bicycles responsibly and respecting traffic regulations.
The "Écola Project" for environmental education aims to train people aware of the seriousness of global problems, prepare them for decision-making and to actively participate in improving the conditions that guarantee the future of the planet. It involves several schools, including Pintor Sorolla (Elda), Juan Rico and Amat (Elda), Reyes Católicos (Petrer) and Miguel Hernández (Elda). The project lasts three years and, at the end of it, the participating centers are awarded the Green Flag, which means that they are schools committed to the environment and caring for the planet. Within the framework of the program, different activities are carried out related to recycling, the school garden, saving energy and excursions to discover the natural landscapes that surround the educational center, as well as learning about and caring for animals.
It is a project of the CEIP POU de la Muntanya (Denia-Alicante) in which the SDGs are being integrated at an institutional level. On the first page of the center's website, reference is made to SDG 4. "Quality Education" as a differentiating feature of said educational institution. Likewise, action actions have been added, in the Educational Project of the Center, within the framework of SDG 5. Gender Equality, SDG 10. Reduction of inequalities and SDG 13. Climate action.
In order to contribute to meeting the challenges posed by the 2030 Agenda, CEIP Víctor Pradera, from Elx (Alicante) participates in the "2030 Strategy Project". The purpose of this is to create a collaborative network between educational centers based on three axes framed within the SDGs: climate emergency, effective equality between men and women and global citizenship. With this objective, in the school, the 2030 Mixed Commission is created, which will meet periodically and will be made up of families, students, a member of the management team, the 2030 coordinator and the coordinator of equality and equality. coexistence. At the end of the experience, the participants will complete a questionnaire to assess the quality and results of the experience.
The CEIP Baladre, in Valencia, through its website, disseminates information and resources related to the SDGs. For example, stories like "Frieda and the SDGs", with attractive contextualized illustrations, aimed at boys and girls between the ages of three and eleven. The objective is to raise awareness about the SDGs in a fun way and, above all, with the aim of stimulating the imagination of children so that they contribute to the change of the school and society from an early age.
Within the #COMPANIES4SDGs campaign, "ODS al cole" is an educational proposal to publicize the 2030 Agenda in schools. The companies registered in this initiative offer their staff the opportunity to get involved in an educational volunteer experience. Through this activity, the people who decide to participate carry out a dynamic to inform students and educational agents about the SDGs. To facilitate the development of the experience, the project provides the Volunteer Kit and the classroom kit with teaching materials and resources.
